The bay and village Rukavac is situated on the south side of Vis island (see map of Vis ), and it is one of the most attractive tourist destinations on th Island of Vis, thanks to its preserved natural surrounding, wonderful bays, and clear sea. Rukavac is about 10km from city of Vis, and 25 from Komiža. Near Rukavac bay there is spectacular pebble beach "Srebrna", one of the most beautiful bays in Dalmatia. Just in front of Rukavac bay, there is a unique "green cave" on small island of Ravnik, a must see for visitors.
